pixelpacker.de is the development and technology studio of Miet-Pin GmbH, a German company operating miet-boot.de, one of Germany's leading online platforms for boat rentals.
We design, build, and maintain all internal software tools used to run and grow the miet-boot.de platform — including performance marketing, campaign automation, and data infrastructure.
Google Ads API Integration
We are building an internal campaign management tool that uses the Google Ads API to create, monitor, and control search advertising campaigns for miet-boot.de.
The tool is used exclusively by our own team to manage our own advertiser accounts. It is not offered to third parties or the general public.
What the tool does
Our Ads Dashboard allows us to launch targeted search campaigns by product category (e.g. "Hausboot", "Motorboot") and geographic region (German federal states) directly from our own server, without relying on the standard Google Ads interface. It reads performance data (clicks, impressions, cost) and writes campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and responsive search ads via the API.
Technical setup
The tool is a PHP web application hosted at pixelpacker.de/ads,
using the official google-ads-php client library,
OAuth 2.0 for authentication, and a MySQL database for local state.
All API calls target our own Google Ads account (Miet-Pin GmbH, 639-435-7649).
Campaign types
Search campaigns with geographic targeting (Google geo target constants, federal state level, Germany). Future: Performance Max.

miet-boot.de is a German boat rental platform listing motorboats, sailboats, houseboats, and paddleboats across Germany. Advertising on Google is a core part of how we connect renters with our listings — and managing that advertising efficiently is exactly why we are building this API tool.
